Available Position at DistributorX Solutions Ltd., London, UK
DistributorX are a specialist technology distributor that offers consultancy and integration services for businesses in need of workflow automation. We help our customers to better serve the needs of their clients by reducing errors and time delays in the production process. We’re the exclusive distributor of Enfocus PitStop within North America and the exclusive distributor of Enfocus Switch and PitStop products in the UK and Ireland. The majority of our customers are within the commercial print or publishing industries, and we also have a network of specialist integrators who sell our products in both regions.
We are currently expanding our solutions portfolio and we’re looking for a seasoned professional that has a proven track record of technical sales and consultancy for pre-press, print production and/or packaging technologies. Applicants for this position will possess an in-depth knowledge of the print production process and will be able to conduct onsite and remote workflow assessments to troubleshoot administrative, prepress, finishing, despatch and warehouse bottlenecks. Once an assessment is completed, a comprehensive audit report will be written to reveal inefficiencies and recommend appropriate software and services from DistributorX.
This position is an integral role within our pre-sales cycle and involves learning our products to provide detailed demonstrations to potential clients and ensuring that all customer prospects, regardless of their technical abilities, understand the value and benefits offered by our solutions. The Workflow Solutions Specialist position will assist our sales team with answers to technical questions and support sales activities by researching use cases for prospective customers.
Do you enjoy sharing your print experience and leading a prospect to a successful conclusion? Can you convince business owners as well as designers and prepress operators of the value of workflow automation? Are you driven to close the deal? Do you enjoy problem-solving and troubleshooting complex solutions? We’re offering a unique opportunity to a special candidate that possesses a strong understanding of pre-press, print production and packaging to further hone your skills in a dynamic and fast-growing business with potential to expand into other vertical markets. If you’ve sold workflow/print automation software, MIS systems, W2P platforms or software from large equipment manufacturers such as HP, Xerox, Fuji, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, etc., then you’ll find this role offers exciting challenges and rewards whilst also affording you the opportunity to improve your workflow development skills.
For the right candidate, this role may also work alongside our Solution Architects to assist customers with their post-sale training, development, implementation and deployment requirements. At DistributorX, you’ll be working as part of a dynamic team. The position offers great opportunities for short and longer-term growth as well as on-going training, and for that reason we’re only interested in a candidate ready to commit to a long-term position. DistributorX are also a learning organisation, and we put great store in continuous development and training for our staff. So, while the following aren’t initial requirements for the position, we expect you’ll enjoy learning and applying technologies that include JavaScript, XSLT, XPath, SQL, JSON, REST APIs, CLI tools and PHP.
If the above ticks your boxes as a great sounding position, we’d love to hear from you and we encourage you to apply today!
